What is a Blepharoplasty?
Blepharoplasty is surgery of the upper or lower eyelids to remove excessive skin or fatty tissue. Surgery can be performed for functional reasons to improve the vision or for aesthetic reasons to enhance ones appearance.

The tightening and contouring following surgery results in a more rested appearance. The incision lines are concealed in normal creases. If removal of fatty tissue alone is needed in the lower lids, the incision can be performed behind the lids thus hiding the incision.
