My wife and I and mother and father in law, as well as my mom, have been seeing Dr. Mackersie for years. She does great work checks and double checks work related to our care and is very detail orientated.

I am thankful Dr. Mackersie would see me. I have lived in Lansing only two months. I was to have cataract surgery done by a doctor in my old city, but my home sold too quickly and I did not want to wait in town for the surgery. I asked two new friends, both long time residents of Lansing who both had cataracts removed by Dr. Mackersie. They were the best ad the doctor could have.

Outstanding job by all.

I’m seeking a 2nd opinion because another doctor in the same office felt patching my sons eyes weren’t necessary a year ago and this doctor said patching would be beneficial. My son has special needs and it would’ve been much easier to patch him as an infant and not an unruly toddler who doesn’t tolerate being touched very much. He’s not like other toddlers or babies. I felt the doctor didn’t listen to me when I brought this up and I feel like there could be a better treatment plan or another option. I don’t know which doctor was correct at LO eye care and I will be traveling to another part of the state to get an updated treatment plan and second opinion.

Would make my next appointment with her.

First time I’ve seen this doctor, she seemed very confident.

I have only met Dr Mackersie one time, she is very nice and expresses with intellect. A confidence rating is way too soon to submit !

Dr. Mackenzie is not Kid Friendly and is very unprofessional and has a bad attitude and no people skills. She does not take time with her patients like she should and dies not take their health in consideration and I will not be back to see her.
