Dr. MacKersie obtained her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing. She earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. Dr. MacKersie completed her Ophthalmology Residency at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium, (Wilford Hall Medical Center and Brooke Army Medical Center) in San Antonio, Texas. She has been married for 16 years and has 2 children. She enjoys boating and water skiing in the summer and snow skiing in the winter.

Explained my issue plainly and patiently

She is very knowledgeable and very caring.

I wish the doctor would have spent more time explaining why she ruled out a certain diagnosis. I do not feel the doctor took the time to investigate the problem fully.
