Dry Eye

Along with dry winter weather in Michigan come some irritating eye issues. Can't stop blinking, rubbing and reaching for artificial tear drops for relief? Do your eyes burn, itch, or feel sandy and gritty? Congratulations, you’ve got dry eyes and you are not alone.Millions of Americans experience dry eyes. However, only a small percentage seek medical advice on how to best combat this persistent issue.

L.O. Eye Care, formerly Lansing Ophthalmology, has partnered with Southwest Michigan Eye Center to bring additional eye care services to the Battle Creek community. 

In September, retina services at Southwest Michigan Eye Center's Battle Creek office began to be provided by Board Certified Retina Specialists, Ahmed El-Sanhouri, M.D. and O’Neil Biscette, M.D. 

Get a free vision and glaucoma screening on January 7, 2017 from 8 am to noon at the L.O. Eye Care Mt. Pleasant office.   No appointment is necessary. For more information call 989.772.3339.


Happy Holidays from L.O. Eye Care

All L.O. Eye Care offices will be closed Friday, December 23rd through Monday, December 26th.  They will reopen as scheduled on Tuesday, December 27th.  

All offices will also be closed on Monday, January 2nd for the New Year Holiday.  They will reopen as scheduled on Tuesday, January 3rd.

Please note, the Lake Odessa office does not have Tuesday hours and therefore will reopen as scheduled on Wednesday.

The offices of L.O. Eye Care will be closing early on Friday, December 9, 2016 for an employee meeting.

The Mt. Pleasant office will be closing at 1 pm.

The Charlotte, Fowlerville, Grand Ledge, Howell and Williamston offices will close at 2 pm.

The Lake Lansing Rd., Sparrow Professional Building and Coolidge Rd. locations will close at 2:30 pm.
